German Steam Locomotive Museum

Visit the German Steam Locomotive Museum in Neuenmarkt at the foot of the first steep track in Europe of the inclined plane. The historical surroundings of the railway depot provide an impressive insight into the history of German railways. To approx. 100,000 square metres, the new depot with roundhouse and the associated segment turntable will present more than 30 steam locomotives. A special highlight is the 10001 - the last remaining locomotive of this series.
